WATCH: Angel Reese sends message to doubters following LSU's Final Four berth
LSU forward Angel Reese was pumped up after the Tigers defeated Miami on Sunday to reach the Final Four for the first time in 15 years. Following the 54-42 victory, Reese delivered an emphatic postgame message while staring right into the camera.
“What they gonna say now?!” she shouted. “What they gonna say now?!”
Reese turned in a big performance in the win, finishing with 13 points, a team-high 18 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks. She fouled out with 58 seconds left and the game already in hand as LSU led 51-36.
The double-double for Reese was her 32nd in 34 games this season, breaking the SEC single-season record. That only added to what was already a special year for the sophomore, as she was also named a first team All-American and first team All-SEC. Now she’ll head to Dallas with her sights set on a national title.
The Tigers slowly built their lead with each quarter and led 38-27 heading into the fourth quarter. Neither team shot the ball well as both were under 32% for the game. They also combined to make just one 3-pointer in 27 tries.

Thanks to Angel Reese, LSU dominated the glass to win the rebounding battle 49-36. The Tigers also played lock down defense to hold Miami to its second-lowest point total this season and force 18 turnovers. Jasmyne Roberts scored more than half of the Hurricanes’ team total with 22 points as no other Miami player had more than four.
With the win, LSU became the first team in the women’s bracket to advance to the Final Four. They have now won three of their four tournament games by double digits and will hope to keep things rolling in Dallas.
The Tigers await the winner between Virginia Tech and Ohio State in their Final Four matchup on Friday. The Buckeyes and Hokies will face off at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday in the Elite Eight.
