Brian Kelly visits former LSU commit, 4-star RB recruit TreVonte' Citizen

Lake Charles (La.) Lake Charles College Prep four-star running back TreVonte’ Citizen is a popular man.
The uncommitted running back has been visited by three schools’ head coaches over the last days.
On Monday, it was Florida head coach Billy Napier and along with assistant Jabbar Juluke.
Tuesday saw Nebraska head coach Scott Frost and assistant coaches Ron Brown and Mickey Joseph make a visit into Louisiana.
And Wednesday saw new LSU head coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers director of scouting Jon Randall Belton pay a visit to the former pledge.
Citizen was an LSU verbal before decommitting about 10 days ago.
He is the No. 67 overall prospect in the country and No. 5 player from Louisiana, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

TreVonte’ Citizen is nation’s fourth-best running back behind Reading (Pa.) Governor Mifflin and Penn State five-star commit Nick Singleton, Hartford (Ala.) Geneva County and Alabama five-star commit Emmanuel Henderson, and Madison (Miss.) Germantown and Georgia four-star commit Branson Robinson.
The visit comes one day after LSU saw two offensive weapons in its 2022 recruiting class decommit in Shreveport (La.) Green Oaks four-star wide receiver Decoldest Crawford and Watkinsville (Ga.) Oconee County four-star tight end Jake Johnson.
The two decommitments dropped LSU from No. 13 to No. 17 in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Monroe (La.) Neville five-star offensive lineman Will Campbell and Lafayette (La.) St. Thomas More Walker Howard lead the class of 11 recruits.
