Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy four-star quarterback and LSU commit Colin Hurley is the latest addition to the Elite 11 Finals this summer in Los Angeles.

Hurley received his invitation on Sunday after his performance at the Elite 11 Regional in Oxford, Mississippi.

The 6-foot, 220-pound Hurley is the sixth passer to secure a spot in the Elite 11’s showcase event in California. Phoenix (Ariz.) Last year’s Elite 11 Finals featured more than a dozen of the top 20 quarterbacks in the final On3 Industry Rankings, including three of the top five players at the position.

Hurley has had a strong offseason

His strong showing in Mississippi continues an impressive offseason for Hurley. In March, he was named the lone quarterback on On3’s list of top performers at Overtime’s OT7 event in Phoenix.

“Four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity QB Colin Hurley was on-point leading the 24K offense,” Spiegelman said. “The LSU commit from Florida had a noticeable chemistry with On3 MVP Cam Coleman after the two lit up the Big Easy last weekend. Hurley was in a rhythm and accurate, and sound throughout the day. He also shined against the blitz with designed throws on the move that turned into splash plays.”

Hurley is the No. 252 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 14 quarterback and the No. 38 junior recruit in state of Florida.

This fall, he committed to the Tigers over offers from more than 20 other programs opted to reclassify up a year from the 2025 class to 2024.

He is one of the crown jewels of LSU’s 11th-ranked recruiting class, joining four-stars Trey’Dez Green, Dashawn McBryde, Maurice Williams, Kolaj Cobbins and more.
