Newly anointed LSU head coach Brian Kelly is on the hunt for the signal-caller of the future for the Tigers and this weekend, Dante Moore is currently on his much anticipated official visit to Baton Rouge. Currently rated as a five-star quarterback prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus Rankings, Moore is one of the most coveted players in all of America for his class. The Tigers’ coaching staff wasted no time in bringing out the heavy artillery in trying to sway Moore to call Baton Rouge home for the next few years. They brought back former Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow to meet with the five-star signal-caller to talk with him about the program.

Check out the picture below of Moore with the former LSU legend.

Burrow is the perfect player for Moore to spend time with, as he experienced both the ups and downs of big-time college football during his time in Baton Rouge. The native of Athens, Ohio put together one of the most spectacular seasons in college football history during in his final season at LSU, en route to hoisting not only the Heisman Trophy, but the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship.

The 2019-2020 version of the Tigers’ aerial attack not only shattered plenty of college football records, but cemented their status in the hearts of LSU fans forever.

Also joining Dante Moore on his stay this weekend is another phenom from the class of 2023, wide receiver Carnell Tate out of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Florida). Tate is rated as a five-star prospect as well, according to the On3 Consensus Rankings. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine for Tate, the Tennessee Volunteers are the current leader for his services–checking in at 54.8 percent. Ohio State checks in at second at 36.1 percent. Notre Dame ranks third and LSU comes in at fourth, with a less than 1 percent chance of landing him.

Dante Moore is one of the best QBs in America

Moore currently ranks as the No. 9 player in the country, No. 4 quarterback in the nation and No. 1 player in Michigan, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Moore, who was just invited to the Elite 11 Finals, has an On3 NIL Valuation of $54,000. That number climbed 47 percent in the last 14 weeks as his recruitment has taken off on the national stage.
“It feels good,” Dante Moore said of the Elite 11 invite. “One of my biggest dreams has been to get an invite to the Elite 11 and winning it. I came out here, competed and had fun. I enjoyed my time. My experience in LA last year was great. I had a chance to compete against some of the top quarterbacks nationally. This time it’s the finals. It’s going to be even bigger than what that was.”
