On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: LSU trending for S Dashawn McBryde
LSU extended an offer to Denham Springs (La.) four-star safety Dashawn McBryde on March 24. McBryde had already been high on the Tigers but that offer put them over the top.
Following intel and a pick from The Bengal Tigers’ Shea Dixon, LSU now has a commanding lead to land a commitment from McBryde according the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). The Tigers currently sit with a 99.7% lead in the RPM.
“They called me while I was in the car, and after that they just broke everything down for me with all the opportunities I can have at LSU and told me they wanted to offer me,” McBryde told On3. ““(LSU Director of Player Personnel Will Redmond) called with the offer. I was kind of expecting it because of how long we have been (talking) for some time. It was really an energetic conversation.”
McBryde’s school is not far from Baton Rouge and he told Dixon that his family is full of LSU fans. Dixon put in his pick for McBryde to LSU with a confidence level of 70%.
Dixon noted that after conversations he’s had with those close to the program, the Tigers need safeties and they’ve made McBryde a priority in their 2024 class.
McBryde is the No. 287 overall prospect and No. 27 safety in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Louisiana.

McBryde currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $48K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
