News emerged Thursday that an arrest warrant for former LSU receiver Kayshon Boutte was issued connected to a string of illegal gambling activities he was allegedly involved in.

More details surfaced in the afternoon via reporting from WAFB, including specifics on bets Boutte placed on himself and the Tigers football team.

Boutte, who was not 21 at the time of the alleged activity, and using a pair of accounts, made approximately 17 wagers on NCAA football, including six bets on LSU and two bets on Boutte himself. The former LSU standout reportedly placed player prop bets on himself for a Kayshon Boutte anytime touchdown and Kayshon Boutte over 82.5 receiving yards in the season opener against Florida State in 2022. Both wagers were part of an eight-leg parlay.

Neither of those player prop bets would have hit, as Boutte finished with just two catches for 20 yards in the contest.

But Boutte’s two accounts racked up plenty of winnings during the time period under investigation by Louisiana State Police.

He allegedly set up two accounts, using payer names that were different from his own. One account was under ‘Tanisha Boutte‘ and had the username ‘kayshonboutte7.’ Another was opened in the name of ‘Kayla Fortenberry‘ with the username ‘Kayshonboutte01.’

The Fortenberry account had the majority of the activity tracked by police.

The Fortenberry account had $100,939 deposited in 2022, and the account went on to win a total of $385,597.71 on 1,520 bets in 2022. It’s worth noting that many of the winnings were used to fund further bets. Louisiana State Police noted that $35,235.20 was withdrawn from the account, and the balance at the end of 2022 was $331.47.

That account was then re-funded with a $31,208.53 deposit in 2023. From there, $170,675.87 was won on a total of 1,549 bets. Subsequently, $15,046.56 was withdrawn. The balance in the Fortenberry account at the end of 2023 was $0.67.

In total, the Fortenberry account made 8,927 wagers, which started on April 6, 2022 and lasted through May 17, 2023.
