Former LSU LB Zavier Carter back in NCAA Transfer Portal after spending 2023 with UNLV
Former LSU Tigers linebacker Zavier Carter is back in the NCAA Transfer Portal after spending a season with UNLV.
Carter spent two seasons with the Tigers before taking his talents to Las Vegas, registering nine tackles, a sack, a pass breakup, and a forced fumble in his career. He did not log a single start for LSU, but stepped up big for the Tigers as a freshman toward the end of the season in 2021 as they battled injuries and opt-outs.
Zavier Carter played high school football at Hapeville Charter (Georgia) High School, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 235 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
It remains to be seen where Zavier Carter will head next, but he’ll have no shortage of suitors looking his way moving forward.
