Four-Star LB Keylan Moses commits to LSU
Four-star linebacker Keylan Moses of Baton Rouge (LA) University Lab announced his commitment to LSU Thursday night.
The 6-foot-3, 215 pounder chose the Tigers over Florida, Texas, and others.
“Well I’m a family oriented type of guy, and being close to my family wasn’t that huge of a factor in my recruitment but getting more mature and as time went on I realized I wanted to be there for my family and my little brother especially. Coach Frank Wilson and I had a conversation before my commitment and told me I’d get taken care of here. Growing up being in the facility all the time the staff that’s been there since my brother was getting recruited understands me and my situation so there doesn’t have to be much said.”
“Coach Frank has been there from the start and when I say the start I mean since I was literally a child. Him being there and recruiting me along the way has been an extreme factor because I look at him as family and I know he and the staff as well are going to take care of me. Ever since I got the offer my freshman year they made it known I was a top guy they wanted and needed to prosper the class of 2025 and I wanna make it known that I’m not the leader of the class and I’m going to bring everybody in and make sure we have the best class in the country as time goes on.”
His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.

“I’m extremely close with coach Frank. Like said previously he’s more of a family so we check in on each other frequently. Being around since 8th grade, guys like Jordan Arcement, Jr Belton, Bobby Barham, Joe Sloan and Sherman Wilson have been huge factors and I’ve built great relationships with them. Coach House has been my guy since the start of my recruitment even since Blake Baker and O offered me. They always said I was going to be used just like Perk, nothing more nothing less.”
The Bayou State linebacker joins coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers’ 2025 class. He is accompanied by five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore, four-star tight end JD LaFleur, and others.
