Nashville (Tenn.) Brentwood Academy four-star quarterback George MacIntyre spent the weekend on a visit to LSU. MacIntyre posted a few photos from his time in Baton Rouge.

MacIntyre is the No. 30 overall prospect and No. 3 quarterback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Tennessee.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pounder holds several notable Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Vanderbilt with a narrow lead over Tennessee to land a commitment from MacIntyre.

MacIntyre’s visit to LSU was the third spring visit for the 2025 signal caller. He visited Georgia (March 14) and Clemson (March 15) earlier in the month and also visited Tennessee in January. He’s set to visit Alabama on March 28 and Michigan on April 1.

The trip to Baton Rouge was MacIntyre’s second to campus as he visited last November for the Tigers’ win over Alabama.

“In terms of game day visits, LSU is definitely at the top,” MacIntyre told The Bengal Tiger. “Death Valley is probably the loudest place I’ve been. They are cheering and chanting all game. And it wasn’t just on third downs or big moments. It was the whole time.

“We watched it from the stands, and we had the students and recruits around us. It was crazy.”

LSU extended an offer to on Feb 7 and Tigers’ quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan has been active in trying to pull MacIntyre from the Volunteer State.

“It’s definitely cool to have. They have been recruiting me for a while now and to now have an official opportunity to play there is great,” MacIntyre told The Bengal Tiger following that offer. “I think it’s cool that their offense adapts to their quarterback’s strengths. I like the difference when (Garrett) Nussmeier was in and (Jayden) Daniels.

“(Sloan’s) a really impressive guy, for sure. He probably talks with me more than any coach. LSU being back to the LSU I grew up seeing is what is standing out right now.”
