LSU offers On3 top-40 EDGE Jordan Ross

Birmingham(Ala.) Vestavia Hills four-star EDGE Jordan Ross received an offer from LSU Wednesday. He announced the news on Twitter.
Ross is the No. 60 overall prospect and No. 6 EDGE in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 player in Alabama.
On3 rates Ross higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Ross Is ranked as the No. 40 prospect in the country, the No. 5 EDGE and No. 4 player in Alabama according to the 2024 On300.
The 6-foot-5, 212-pound Ross holds 18 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Tennessee as the favorite to land a commitment from Ross at 42%.
Ross took four visits in January visiting Colorado, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. His current slate of spring visits include a trip to Alabama in March (March 4) and an official visit back to Knoxville on June 22.

“It’s been great,” Ross told On3 regarding Alabama. “They’ve been talking with me well. I love the relationship with them. Coach [Freddie] Roach calls me and tells me that I’m a priority for them and that they need me at Alabama.”

LSU currently has the No. 11 class nationally and No. 6 class in the SEC for the 2024 recruiting cycle. The Tigers have eight commitments including six four-star prospects.
