WATCH: Justice Hill leads incredible sequence, ends with emphatic alley-oop slam to Trae Hannibal
The LSU Tigers blew out the New Orleans Privateers in Baton Rouge on Thursday night. In the second half, the Tigers pushed the lead to over 30 points at one point. The Tigers had a couple of impressive highlight reel plays midway through the second half, when Justice “Juice” Hill had a fast break and bounced an alley-oop to himself for a dunk. Then on the next play, the Tigers got out on the fast break after getting another steal, and Hill had a beautiful lob to Trae Hannibal, who sent it in with authority.

The Privateers played without their leading scorer, Jordan Johnson. He’s currently averaging 14.5 points per game and 4.0 assists this season.

Justice Hill had an excellent all-around performance
LSU routed the Privateers by a final score of 91-62 on Thursday night. Justice Hill stuffed the stat sheet with 12 points, two rebounds, and five assists. Hill came to the Tigers this offseason via the transfer portal from the Murray State Racers. Last season for Murray State, Hill averaged 13.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
Tigers forward Derek Fountain dumped in 15 points, eight rebounds, and two assists in the victory.

The LSU defense had 17 steals and three blocks on Thursday night. The win was the Tigers’ 27th straight over schools from the state of Louisiana.
Cam Hayes pumped in 13 points and dished out three assists in the game. Before joining the Tigers this offseason via the transfer portal, Hayes played for the N.C. State Wolfpack. Coming out of high school, he was rated as the No. 15 point guard in America and a four-star prospect, according to the On3 Consensus Rankings for the 2020 cycle.
Next up, LSU will face the Illinois State Redbirds. That one is set for Nov. 21. Tip-off is set for 11:00 AM EST.
