LOOK: 2024 4-star QB Julian Sayin on LSU unofficial visit
Carlsbad (Calif.) four-star quarterback Julian Sayin is one of the top signal-callers in the 2024 cycle. This weekend, the 6-foot-1, 185 pound prospect is taking another unofficial visit to LSU for the Tigers’ game against New Mexico. It is Sayin’s third overall visit to Baton Rouge and first since June 12.
Prior to kickoff, Sayin was spotted on the field level of Tiger Stadium. He is wearing a t-shirt with former LSU and current Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow on it.
Sayin is the No. 16 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in California.
“(Quarterback) coach (Joe) Sloan’s pitch has been how they are going to put the talent around the quarterback,” Sayin told Shea Dixon of The Bengal Tiger. “They have all the resources at LSU, and so much in-state talent alone. Their offense has been so explosive in years past with guys like Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Odell Beckham Jr., etc.
“It shows how much talent they bring in at receiver.”
The California native isn’t the only high-profile 2024 quarterback seeing the Tigers tonight. Willis (Texas) four-star quarterback DJ Lagway is also taking an unofficial visit to LSU.

Michigan prepared to offer No. 1 recruit $10.5M over 4 years
Sayin has received 28 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Georgia has a close lead for his commitment at 49.4%, while LSU isn’t far behind at 39.2%.
RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.
It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.
Sayin has an On3 NIL Valuation of $129K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
