LSU head coach Kim Mulkey’s outfit shines brightly ahead of the 2023 NCAA Championship game. Mulkey, known for her outlandish outfits, is confident ahead of the big game.

She is always dressed to impress, but her national title outfit might be even better than her previous all-pink frilled shirt from the Final Four or her peacock outfit from the game before. Now, she’s in LSU tiger print. All she needs now is a ring to match.

Check out her snazzy outfit below:

The Hawkeyes and Tigers will tip off on Sunday at 3 :30 p.m. ET on ABC. Iowa has opened as a three-point favorite, per Caesars Sportsbook.

More on Mulkey’s outfit and the designers behind them

Jaime Glas is the sparkle queen and she has turned Kim Mulkey into a fashion icon. Her fashion line — ‘Queen of Sparkles’ is behind most of Mulkey’s sizzling March Madness outfits. Glas, an LSU grad, is the mind behind most of her gameday outfits.

Mulkey has worn Glas’ clothing in-game since 2021. Her outfits began catching on in December of 2021, and people wanted to know where she was getting her one-of-a-kind shirts from. Just like that, Glas was discovered and couldn’t believe the type of business she was getting from someone as high-profile in the community as her.

“I was just like, ‘Wow,’” Glas said. “That’s what opened my eyes to her as ‘This woman is here. She’s not playing around.’”

Including the national title, three of Mulkey’s postseason tournament outfits were from the Queen of Sparkles line. That included the white and green St. Patrick’s Day-inspired “Kiss Me I’m a Queen” sweater vest during the first round, the silver blazer she wore while griddying after the Elite Eight.

The pink-feathered shirt is one that wasn’t a part of Gras’ line. Instead, that interesting outfit came from Martha Gottwald, 32, the creative director and founder of Neubyrne, which is a fashion brand that focuses on bold styles and vibrant colors. The shirt was originally attended to be shown during a runway show before the pandemic, but the pandemic got in the way and the shirt sat in Gottwald’s private studio until Mulkey took it off her hands.

Gottwald said it’s her job to make people turn heads — she wants to get people talking with the outfits she designs. “She looked incredible in it,” Gottwald told The Daily Advertiser. “I like a piece that people either are obsessed with or they cannot stand, and I think I did my job.”
