LSU DB Jordan Allen plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal

LSU DB Jordan Allen plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Allen will leave the Tigers with two seasons of collegiate eligibility remaining.
Allen just finished his redshirt sophomore season with three years spent in Baton Rouge. In that time, he made double-digit appearances on defense and special teams for LSU.
In total, Allen posted 20 tackles and a deflection as an underclassman. That includes a career-best year this fall with 13 tackles and the deflection. Those were his statistics although spending a lot of the season on the injury report for the Tigers.

Allen, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, played high school football at Lafayette Christian Academy. He was the No. 506 overall recruit there as a three-star prospect in the 2022 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as the No. 51 safety in the class and a Top-25 player out of the state. That made him one of the top signees for them in the recruiting class going into the program’s first season under Brian Kelly.
