LSU insider logs prediction for Tigers to land 2025 4-star IOL Devin Harper
LSU already sits atop the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings in the 2025 cycle. Brian Kelly and Co. aren’t taking their foot off the gas, either.
The Tigers are on pace for one of the best-ever recruiting hauls, and while National Signing Day for the junior class is still far away, signs continue to point in favor of the SEC program trending upwards with multiple elite prospects.
That includes Shreveport (La.) Calvary Baptist four-star interior offensive lineman Devin Harper. The 6-foot-5, 287-pounder has taken a flurry of visits to Baton Rouge and continues to trend toward the in-state school.
On Sunday, LSU recruiting insider Shea Dixon logged a pick in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) in favor of the Tigers landing Harper. LSU now has a 98.9% edge to bring in another one of the best in The Boot.
“I like the staff and Baton Rouge is just a wonderful place. Coach Brad Davis, Carl St. Cyr, Sherman Wilson, JR Belton, all those guys. They’re on me heavy,” Harper told On3. “I feel the love from LSU, so I like it there.”
Last week, associate head coach Frank Wilson and quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan made their way up to Shreveport to visit with Harper — who made the jump to a four-star recruit back in October. Harper made three trips to Baton Rouge in 2023, including a pair of game visits in the fall.

Harper is the No. 156 overall prospect and No. 7 IOL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 3 player in Louisiana.
Tigers continue to add top talent to 2025 class
LSU added another top-50 recruit to the fold this weekend, as New Iberia (La.) Westgate four-star cornerback Jaboree Antoine committed. He’s the No. 7 CB and No. 2 player in Louisiana in the cycle, meaning the Tigers already have pledges from the No. 1, 2 and 4 players in-state.
Metairie (La.) St. Martin’s Episcopal five-star running back Harlem Berry committed at the beginning of January, while Baton Rouge University Lab four-star linebacker Keylan Moses did so at the end of November.
The top of the class is as elite as it comes, headlined by the No. 1 overall prospect, Belleville (Mich.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Bryce Underwood. Not too far behind is Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Dakorien Moore, the No. 4 recruit and top-ranked wideout. Berry is the No. 1 tailback in the cycle, making for an absurd trio.
