LSU OL Marlon Martinez plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal

LSU Tigers offensive lineman Marlon Martinez plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal.
On Friday, Martinez took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to make his announcement, writing a heartfelt letter to LSU as he moves on with his collegiate career. Check it out below.
Across four seasons with the Tigers, Martinez has appeared in 44 games with four starts.
As a recruit, he was the No. 375 overall prospect in the 2020 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranked as the nation’s No. 15 offensive lineman and the No. 58 recruit in Florida.
Before taking his talents to Baton Rouge, Martinez was highly sought after as a recruit, as he chose LSU over programs like the Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, Auburn Tigers and Penn State Nittany Lions. We’ll see where he ends up this time around as he moves on to a new chapter.
