Montverde Academy (Fla.), according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 10 overall prospect in the state, the No. 10 point guard in the class and the No. 61 overall prospect in the class.

On3’s Jamie Shaw identified Givens as a top point guard in the country as a recruit, which is a part of why On3 has him inside the Top 10 overall point guard prospects nationally.
“Curtis Givens is a skilled and confident lead guard,” he said on his scouting report in the winter of 2023. “He has smooth three-point range that extends well beyond the arc. While he will need to continue developing his explosion, he can get to his spots, off the bounce, in the half-court, and has good floor vision. Givens is a modern type guard who can score and facilitate. He should track among the top in his class.”
