LSU trending for in-state On300 4-star RB JT Lindsey
Brian Kelly and LSU already have one of the nation’s best running back prospects in their 2025 recruiting class, but they’re not done yet.
The Tigers plan on adding two players at the position this cycle and look to be in prime position to do. LSU is already trending for four-star back James Simon, but has now received multiple predictions in their favor for On300 Alexandria (La.) running back JT Lindsey as well.
That comes on the heels of an offer extended to Lindsey by LSU running backs coach Frank Wilson. TheBengalTiger.com insiders Billy Embody and Shea Dixon have both logged picks in LSU’s favor with a high confidence level of 80 percent.
“It was heartwarming. I have been waiting on this one since I was little,” Lindsey told The Bengal Tiger of the offer. “After practice, Coach Frank brought me and my coach to his office. We had a meeting and he said I am a great kid but not at my full potential yet, and he wants to take me there.
… I had the biggest smile ever. It’s a kid’s dream. I know now more schools will be looking at me, but I’m just really glad to have this offer.”
