LSU running back Kaleb Jackson levels Whit Weeks in practice
College football is upon us. And one of the greatest games on the planet is only a few weeks away from officially beginning this fall. That means teams across the country are in fall camp, preparing for the season. LSU running back Kaleb Jackson has once again turned some heads for the Tigers in fall camp practices. And on Saturday, he didn’t disappoint when he absolutely leveled one of his teammates, linebacker Whit Weeks, in a practice.
It’s nothing new for the talented running back. Last fall as a freshman, Jackson bowled over Isaac Smith of Mississippi State, absolutely destroying him in the open field. It drew plenty of buzz on social media and even made SportsCenter’s Top 10 list. On the Tigers’ official roster this fall, Jackson is currently listed at 6’0, 235 pounds.
With hits like that one in the open field on his own teammates, it sure is going to be fun to watch Jackson inflict pain upon opposing defenders this fall. Whit Weeks is the brother of former Virginia linebacker West Weeks.
The good news for Jackson and the offensive players for the Tigers, is that they return an elite offensive line unit for the 2024-2025 campaign. It all starts up front in the game of football and the battle of the trenches is always most critical. That’s going to help make life easier for the Tigers running backs: Jackson, Josh Williams, John Emery, and Caden Durham.
