The 5-foot-7, 177-pound tailback is one of two running back commits in LSU’s 2023 recruiting class. The other is Baton Rouge (La.) Liberty Magnet High School four-star Kaleb Jackson. The Tigers’ class currently ranks No. 6 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 3 in the SEC.

Holly has an On3 NIL Valuation of $39K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Trey Holly On3 Scouting Summary

The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Trey Holly:

“Trey Holly is one of the most productive running backs in the 2023 cycle. He’s been dominant the last two seasons, running for over 5,300 yards and 77 touchdowns. Holly has a natural feel for the position. He reads blocks, uses his initial quickness to dart through the line of scrimmage and consistently makes defenders miss at the second level. Holly has a compact frame at around 5-foot-7, 180 pounds. He uses the low center of gravity to his advantage in running through contact. We also see Holly catch the ball well out of the backfield, which is a good sign for any back, particularly one with a smaller build. He has tested relatively well in the combine setting, showing solid speed even though he’s not a burner.”
