2024 3-star CB Wallace Foster commits to LSU

New Orleans (La.) Warren Easton three-star cornerback Wallace Foster announced his commitment to LSU on Saturday night. He chose the Tigers over multiple programs, including Florida State and Michigan State.

Foster is the No. 350 overall prospect and No. 37 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Louisiana.

The Tigers’ 2024 recruiting class now contains eight prospects. They are Foster, Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star cornerback Zion Ferguson, Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy four-star quarterback Colin Hurley, Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek four-star safety Maurice Williams, Chillicothe (Ohio) four-star tight end Tayvion Galloway, Loganville (Ga.) Grayson four-star athlete Joseph Stone, Jonesboro (La.) Jonesboro-Hodge three-star linebacker Xavier Atkins and Marrero (La.) John Ehret three-star interior offensive lineman Khayree Lee.

Meanwhile, LSU’s 2023 class is No. 5 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 3 in the SEC. The group is led by Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic five-star wide receiver Shelton Sampson Jr., the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Foster has an On3 NIL Valuation of $35K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
