WATCH: Brian Kelly dances to 'Callin' Baton Rouge' with Walker Howard
Lafayette (La.) St. Thomas More four-star quarterback and LSU commit Walker Howard was excited when the Tigers hired Brian Kelly as head coach.
But no one would have expected this most recent development: Kelly and Howard vibing to ‘Callin’ Baton Rouge’ by Garth Brooks.
Standing back-to-back on a circular elevated surface, a camera goes around the surface going back and forth between Kelly and Howard.
Howard tosses a football up and down and puts on a L for LSU.
Kelly starts off by putting up the L as well, and then he starts dancing. For someone not known for being a happy-go-lucky character, Kelly busting a move with his potential quarterback of the future is almost unimaginable.
When Kelly was first hired, Howard told Koki Riley, a LSU and Louisiana recruiting and high school sports reporter for USA Today Sports, that he was excited to play for Kelly.
“He’s going to bring us to national championships,” Howard told Riley.
Walker Howard is the No. 39 overall recruit in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The song was written by Dennis Leade and first performed by The Oak Ridge Boys in 1978.
Garth Brooks’ cover was included on his 1993 album In Pieces. The song reached No. 2 on the Billboard US Hot Country Songs list.
