WATCH: LSU takes late lead on Jaray Jenkins third TD against Florida
A thrilling game between the LSU Tigers and Florida Gators continued to be the most fun you can have on a Saturday afternoon. In what’s been a bonkers matchup, Ed Orgeron’s squad took the lead on a 4th & Goal touchdown pass.
After faking out the entire defense, Max Johnson found a wide-open Jaray Jenkins for six — and his third TD of the day. Orgeron’s belief in his offense paid off, and now the Tigers are leading late against the Gators.
Moreover, it’s been a game of momentum swings — and ‘Old Mo’ has switched sides multiple times on the day. Now, he’s firmly planted on the LSU sideline wearing purple and yellow.
Earlier in the game, it looked like LSU would runaway with the victory. However, Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson hasn’t allowed that to happen.

LSU defense comes up clutch against Florida
With the game on the line, the LSU defense had to finally come up with a stop against Florida. As Richardson has carved up the Tigers defense, it was a big ask for them to put the game away.
Then, Damone Clark intercepted a Richardson pass to ice the game.
A desperation heave by Richardson ended Florida’s bid for a comeback attempt. Finally, the LSU defense got a stop — and the Tigers escape the Gators with a victory. Ed Orgeron can smile following a game for the first time in what feels like forever.
