3-star wing Noah Batchelor commits to Maryland
Noah Batchelor, a 6-foot-7 small forward out of IMG (Fla.) Academy, has committed to Maryland for the class of 2022, he tells On3.
The sharpshooter is ranked as the No. 172 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“I picked Maryland because it is home,” Batchelor said to On3. “Their coaching staff made it feel like home as soon as I stepped on campus and the fan base also made it feel like home. The coaching staff on top of that knows what they are doing and can get me to that next level. But one of the main reasons was that I get to play in front of my family and friends every home game and the campus is 45 minutes from my house. So I have a lot of support.”
Batchelor is a native of Frederick, Maryland, right outside of Baltimore.
The three-star recruit was originally committed to Memphis, before committing in February. He also received offers from Virginia Tech, LSU, Georgia, and others.
