Maryland offers 4-star IOL Eddy Pierre-Louis
Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Catholic four-star interior offensive lineman Eddy Pierre-Louis received an offer from Maryland Thursday. He announced the news on Twitter.
Pierre-Louis is the No. 132 overall prospect and No. 7 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 22 player in Florida.
The 6-foot-3, 335-pounder holds 29 Power Five offers and the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently has Florida as the favorite to land a commitment from Pierre-Louis at 40.4%.
In January, Auburn Live asked Pierre-Louis which schools were standing out to him currently.
“Schools that stand out are Oregon, Auburn, Alabama, (Oklahoma), Clemson, Miami,” Pierre-Louis told On3. When asked who was recruiting him hardest, Pierre-Louis mentioned the Ducks and was impressed they stopped by Tampa Catholic to see him “with them being across the world.”

Maryland currently has one commitment in its 2024 recruiting class in three-star linebacker Justin Okoronkwo. The Terrapins finished the 2023 recruiting cycle with the No. 48 class nationally and the No. 11 class in the Big Ten.
Pierre-Louis currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $54K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
