DeJuan Williams a top 10 prospect in Maryland and the No. 225 prospect in the 2024 On3 Consensus. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound running back is closing in on double-digit offers and a local school is already making him feel like a priority.

Maryland offered Williams, a star at Baltimore St. Frances Academy, in November, and he has been in touch with Lance Thompson and Elijah Brooks since.

Williams was back at Maryland a little over a week ago and Mike Locksley and Terrapins are in a great position for one of the best in their backyard.

“I grew up watching Maryland and every time I am there, it is a great experience,” Williams told On3. “It is close to home, the fans are great, and the coaches have really made me feel important.”

With Maryland being less than hour from home, it is an easy trip for Williams and his family. He has already been on campus close to 10 times and he feels very comfortable.

“I have been there for games and visits, so I know a lot about Maryland. What stands out most is how I already feel like part of the team. They make me feel like I can come in now, be one of them, and ball out for Maryland.

“Maryland is a school I am really high on.”

Williams plans to visit again in April.

Arizona, California, Georgia Tech, Liberty, and Penn State are some of the other schools that have offered.
