Maryland offers 3-star cornerback Bryce Thornton
Maryland has extended an offer to Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton three-star cornerback Bryce Thornton.
Thornton is the No. 404 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Thornton currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6,100. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
The Terrapins have two verbals in the 2023 class in Irvington (N.J.) three-star wide receiver Nasir Addison and Fairfield (Conn.) St. Peters Prep three-star quarterback Robert Long.

Thornton is high school teammates with Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Lebbeus Overton, who recently reclassified from the 2023 class to the 2022 class. Overton has a top five of Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Texas A&M.
“I just want to tighten communication up with the five schools and build on my relationships from here,” Overton told On3’s Chad Simmons a few weeks ago. “The five schools will get official visits this spring, they will get my attention moving forward, and I will pick from one of the schools when I commit.”
