Ryan Forrest on his commitment to Memphis
“I chose Memphis because growing up playing in Memphis, I always was able to see the Tigers play,” Forrest said to On3. “After that, it just stuck with me that I can see myself playing in that uniform. It’s one of my goals that I can say I accomplished. I will have my cousin Shawn Forrest on the coaching staff as well so I feel Memphis is a place I can grow as a basketball player and a man.”
Forrest is Memphis’ first commitment to the class of 2023.
Memphis finished third overall in the AAC during the 2021-22 season. In conference play, the Tigers went 13-5 and had an overall record of 22-11.
