David Tubek, a three-star forward in the class of 2023, has decommitted from Memphis, he told On3.

The 6-foot-8 senior out of Glendale (Ariz.) Dream City Christian committed to the Tigers back in November. Prior to committing to Memphis, Tubek considered Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, West Virginia and others.

Tubek provided the following statement to On3:

“First off, I would like to thank coach Penny and his entire coaching staff for recruiting me and giving me opportunity to play at university of Memphis. Also, I would like to thank the tiger nation for the endless love and support. After careful consideration with my family, I have decided to reopen my recruitment.”
