3-star LB Cam Pruitt commits to Miami Hurricanes
Theodore (Ala.) three-star linebacker Cam Pruitt has committed to the Miami Hurricanes. He announced the news on Twitter.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is the No. 403 overall prospect and No. 39 linebacker in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 24 player in Alabama.
Miami extended Pruitt an offer on Jan. 28. He visited Coral Gables for the first time a week before that offer and returned again in April for a spring visit.
He announced his pledge to the Hurricanes while on his official visit.
“They blew away my expectations,” Pruitt told On3 following the April visit. “They’ve got good people around here. Smart, healthy people. Good coaches, good players to be around. There’s a lot of good things around. The place is beautiful, nice weather and everything. Miami blew away my expectations.”

Cam Pruitt currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $28K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
