4-star QB Jaden Rashada sets Miami official visit

Pittsburg (Calif.) four-star quarterback Jaden Rashada has scheduled a midweek official visit to Miami, On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons reports.

Simmons says the visit will come this week and could last as long as Tuesday through Thursday.

Simmons had previously reported last week that Rashada and Miami were talking about getting the four-star quarterback back to campus one final time before he made a verbal commitment.

Rashada was originally set to commit last Friday but delayed the decision by one week. He will now announce his choice on Sunday, June 26.

The Hurricanes are one of his five final teams alongside Florida, LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Rashada recently completed a three-school, six-day official visit tour of Texas A&M, LSU and Florida.

“It was pretty crazy but it was well worth it,” Rashada said at the OT7 tournament in Las Vegas.

He had previously taken his Ole Miss official visit in April.

Coming out of those visits, Florida holds a lead for Rashada, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. The Gators have a 46.6% chance to land Rashada with the Aggies right behind at 18.5% and the Hurricanes at 14.9%.

Jaden Rashada is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2023 class

Jaden Rashada is the No. 42 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The California native is the seventh-ranked quarterback in the On3 Consensus. Four of the top 10 quarterbacks in the class are uncommitted right now.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $454k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
