The suspects that allegedly stole three high-priced vehicles belonging to Miami quarterback Carson Beck and his girlfriend Hanna Cavinder, also a Hurricanes women’s basketball player, on Wednesday night reportedly broke into their house and stole the keys while the couple were asleep, according to Miami-based radio personality Andy Slater.

The suspects, who entered Beck’s South Florida home through the garage according to Slater, made off with Beck’s Mercedes and Lamborghini and Cavinder’s SUV, per Slater, though the SUV and Mercedes have since been located. A backpack belonging to Beck that included two tablets and a laptop left in one of his vehicles was also recovered nearby the couple’s home, according to Slater.

Police are still searching for Beck’s Lamborghini.

Beck transferred to Miami in early January after two seasons as Georgia‘s starting quarterback. It was reported at the time that Beck would be earning a massive NIL deal to play for the Hurricanes in the amount of $4 million.

In going to Miami, Beck also had the opportunity to join Cavinder, his longtime girlfriend who plays for the Hurricanes women’s basketball team. The two have been dating since the summer of 2024. Cavinder initially transferred there along with her twin sister, Haley, and became a big name in the NIL landscape at the time. That included deals with the likes of Under Armour and Stanley.

As of now, there is no further information about the couple’s stolen cars. It’s unknown who stole the cars and what their motivation was to do so. However, investigations are underway.

This also comes at a time when robberies and thefts of star athletes have been in the news. In December, the FBI issued a warning to athletes around the country that they were being targeted by an organized group of criminals. Patrick MahomesTravis KelceJoe BurrowLuka Doncic, and Bobby Portis Jr. had all been targeted at the time. The group was going into the homes of athletes while they were on road trips.

The Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball team is 13-12 on the season and struggling to a 3-11 record in ACC play. This season, Cavinder has played in all 25 games, starting in every one of them for the Hurricanes. She’s averaging 6.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.

Beck, meanwhile, is rehabbing from an arm injury he suffered in the SEC Championship Game to try and get ready for Spring practice and the 2025 college football season.
