4-star wideout Hykeem Williams visiting Miami today
Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Stranahan wide receiver Hykeem Williams has been a frequent visitor to Miami over the past 10 months, and he’s back on campus again today for another unofficial visit.
Williams is the No. 60 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 10 wide receiver and the No. 13 junior prospect in Florida.
This visit to Coral Gables is one of more than a half dozen he has made since last June, including one in January for the program’s Elite Prospect Day.
In Feburary, Williams released a top eight of Alabama, Georgia, USC, Florida State, Miami, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Rutgers; In-state rival Florida has made a major push since new head coach Billy Napier took over, though. And the Gators are also in the mix.

“They actually moved up. I like Florida,” Hykeem Williams recently told GatorsOnline. “This is my first time getting to see them in action, so they have a good spot on my list now.”
Miami currently leads in the race to land him, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It gives the Hurricanes of 32.5 percent chance of landing his commitment. Florida State, Florida and Georgia trail close behind.
