Four-star wide receiver Chance Robinson of Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas announced his commitment to Miami Friday night.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pounder chose the Hurricanes over Georgia, Auburn, and others.

Robinson on why he chose Miami

“They showed me the most love and I wanna stay home and put on for my city, I hate seeing Miami in the state it’s in and I just wanna be a part of bringing the city back!”

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Robinson

“Coach Kevin Beard is my guy. He made a huge impact on me from the first day he got the job and Coach Cristobal is just everything you want in a head coach and I love the way he brings the energy to the table.”

What it means to Robinson and family to stay home

“It means everything to stay home to us because it’s been my dream since I was a kid.”

The Sunshine State wide receiver joins coach Cristobal and the Hurricanes 2024 class. He is accompanied by three-star quarterback Judd Anderson.

Robinson ranks as the No. 131 player according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also tabs in as the No. 23 wide receiver and the No. 18 player in the state of Florida.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $101K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
