Hanna Cavinder on possible future in WWE: ‘I don’t think that’s something that wouldn’t happen’
Twin sisters Haley and Hanna Cavinder aren’t ruling out a potential WWE career once their college basketball playing days are done. They’ve already had experience working with the wrestling league through NIL through it’s “Next In Line” program.
The name alone seems to suggest the program is for athletes who plan to pursue a future with the WWE. However, while the Cavinder twins have already made their TV debut at a WWE event last summer, they haven’t committed one way or the other to anything with the league after college.
They both joined the Andy Staples On3 podcast recently, where Hanna Cavinder indicated it is something they would have interest in.
“I don’t think that’s something that wouldn’t happen,” she said. “I think right now we’re gonna focus on this upcoming year and then cross that bridge when we get there. The WWE fanbase is amazing and the people that work there. We talked to the Bella Twins and it’s definitely an incredible space. So definitely could be down the line, for sure.”
The WWE is certainly no stranger to sibling acts, with the Bella Twins being a perfect example for Haley and Hanna to follow. They also would not be the first athlete from Miami to make the jump to WWE after Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson played football for the Hurricanes before beginning his pro wrestling career.

Of course, WWE isn’t likely to be the only opportunity for the Cavinder twins once they move on from college. Their first choice would likely be to play for the WNBA assuming they each play well enough this season to get drafted.
Both will also have a variety of business opportunities in front of them thanks to the world of NIL. They were one of the first athletes to truly make the most of the new space, using their joint TikTok account to grow a massive following. The twins also currently rank third and fourth among women’s college basketball players with their NIL valuation according to On3.
With sponsorships from brands such as Under Armor, Champs Sports, Raising Cane’s and more, they could certainly continue their careers as influencers as well.
For now, however, they’ll focus on one last season together at Miami as they hope to make a deep run through the postseason together. Hanna Cavinder is returning to basketball after a year off, so it will certainly mark an interesting season for both.
Then, once it’s over, the WWE can be considered.
