Identity of Carson Beck, Hanna Cavinder car thief revealed after arrest

Following the news of an arrest for the theft of the cars of Miami’s Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder, the identity of that person is now known.
Per Andy Slater, Tykwon Anderson was the arrested man for his part in the crime late on Wednesday night or Thursday morning with him having apparently since confessed to authorities.
“The 20-year-old arrested is Tykwon Anderson, a former high school football player in Miami,” Slater replied on Twitter on Friday. “He confessed to detectives about the entire plan.”
However, based on the reporting, three other thieves have not been arrested at this time.
Late on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, Anderson was one of the four involved in breaking into the home where Beck and Cavinder were asleep. They came in through their garage, took their keys, and drove off with a Mercedes and a Lamborghini owned by Beck as well as a Range Rover owned by Cavinder.
With that, the Range Rover and Mercedes have since been located by authorities which leaves the Lamborghini still missing as of now.
Beck and Cavinder, a quarterback for the football team and a guard on the women’s basketball team, have been together for just over half a year now or so. She was already at The ‘U in two of the past three seasons with him joining her as part of his transfer from the portal back in January. Together, Beck and Cavinder are a power couple in college sports with him both among the highest-earners, especially in their respective sports, in NIL.
More news could come on this with three other people supposedly involved in the thefts. Two cars are already back and one arrest has already been made, though, in this case over the first day since it happened.

More on the theft, recent arrest involving Beck, Cavinder
An arrest has reportedly been made in the car thefts yesterday involving Miami’s Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder.
According to Andy Slater this morning, a man, now known to be Tykwon Anderson, has been arrested for his part in stealing the vehicles. That was after four in total apparently broke into their home while they were asleep and took their keys.
“SLATER SCOOP: One man has been arrested for stealing Carson Beck’s cars, sources tell me,” Slater tweeted on Friday. “The 20-year-old and three others allegedly broke into Beck’s home while the Hurricanes QB and Cavinder were sleeping. They went into the living room wearing masks and took the keys.”
Three cars were eventually taken per reports with Beck having a Mercedes and a Lamborghini and Cavinder having an SUV. The SUV was found first while the Mercedes was found later in the day. However, the Lamborghini has seemingly yet to be found to this point.
Cavinder bought the Range Rover within the last month or so to match with Haley Cavinder, her twin sister. Beck had purchased the Lamborghini within the last year as well in February of 2024. However, the home would also be new with Beck having transferred to The ‘U back in January.
