Miami wide receiver Jacolby George is excited for the team’s spring game later this month.

The Hurricanes will have their spring game April 14 at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla, and George knows what his goal for the game is going to be.

“My goal is to make sure everybody’s doing good,” George said. “All the receivers, just make sure we’re all on the same page and we winning.”

George caught 13 passes for 130 yards with zero touchdowns in seven games last season. He missed time during the year with a broken thumb.

As a true freshman in 2021, George made seven catches for 183 yards and a touchdown in eight games.

George currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $20K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

DRV PNK Stadium is the home of Inter Miami CF. It has a capacity of 18,000. The Hurricanes play their home games during the season at Hard Rock Stadium.

Isaiah Horton says he is healthy after shoulder injury last year

Jacolby George’s wide receiver room teammate Isaiah Horton is feeling healthy after injuring his sholder during last season.

Horton was a true freshman last year with the potential to be an impact player but a shoulder injury derailed the season for him.

He ended up playing in just one game last season. Obviously, he hopes to make more of an impact this year.

“Yeah, I’m good now; healthy now. The shoulder is fine,” Horton said. “Mentally, I’m good. I’m good, mentally. Just gave me a minute to sit down and think about what I have in front of me; the blessing that I have in front of me. It’s a true blessing. Not many people get to play college football at the level I’m playing. So, I just got to sit down and take the opportunity that I have to take it in as a blessing and not take it for granted.”
