Mario Cristobal knows the challenge of playing at Texas A&M, Kyle Field
Texas A&M’s Kyle Field is known as one of the best home field advantages in all of college football. When Miami comes to town, it’s going to be one of the best out-of-conference game atmospheres all season long. Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal knows this, and he knows how to make sure his team is prepared for this game.
“They do an unbelievable job supporting their football program,” Mario Cristobal said. “It’s one of the premier atmospheres, you know, on gameday.”

Throughout his career, Mario Cristobal has coached at Kyle Field three different times. Miami and Texas A&M have played in College Station just once before. That game was in 2008 and Miami won it 41-23. In fact, the only time the Aggies beat the Hurricanes was during World War II, though this will only be the fourth meeting between the two programs.
