Miami baseball announces updated regional schedule, game times

The Miami Regional is the only regional tournament yet to be played in the NCAA Tournament due to inclement weather in Coral Gables, Florida over the past two days. With the rain comes delays, and Miami has announced updated times from their regional opener against Canisius.

The Hurricanes are now set to take on Canisius at 5 p.m. ET, while the remaining game featuring Arizona and Ole Miss will see the first pitch thrown approximately 55 minutes following the conclusion of game one.

With the possibility of facing more weather-related incidents, the NCAA will need to work diligently to have this regional played and concluded by Sunday as the selection of the eight Super Regional hosts will then be announced on the NCAA’s website by 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, June 7.
