Miami DB Myles Mooyoung enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
Miami DB Myles Mooyoung has entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Mooyoung shared that news of his entry himself with a post on social media on Monday.
“Officially in the Transfer Portal! #Blessed” Mooyoung tweeted.
“First and foremost, I wold like to thank God for blessing me with the ability to play the sport I love and my family for their unwavering love and support. Thank you to the University of Miami for allowing me to fulfill a lifelong dram and goal of mine to be a Miami Hurricanes. I am grateful for my time here and am appreciative for the opportunity to grow academically and athletically,” wrote Mooyoung. “I want to express my deepest gratitude to the entire coaching staff for developing me on and off the field. To my teammates, I have the most respect and love for you all. You guys truly made this experience special. The bonds we have build and our brotherhood will last forever.”
“With that being said, I will be entering the transfer portal with one year of eligibility,” Mooyoung wrote. “Thank you for everything.”
Mooyoung spent four seasons as a redshirt junior at The ‘U. However, he saw limited action while with the Hurricanes. He did record his first collegiate statistics this fall, though, with two tackles and an interception.
Mooyoung, a native of Birmingham, Mississippi, played high school football at Wylie E. Groves in Franklin, MS.
