Mario Cristobal sends emphatic message to fanbase after recruiting wins
The Miami Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal has an important message for fans regarding the upcoming season. The Hurricanes have been making a ton of noise this offseason and look to be serious contenders for the ACC title. And Cristobal believes that it is all because of the love a momentum created by Miami’s fan base.
“HURRICANE FAMILY – TREMENDOUS APPRECIATION for the MOMENTUM YOU CREATED with your JUICE & ENERGY!!! KEEP BRINGING IT !!! STRONG!!! DIFFERENCEMAKER!!!,” wrote Cristobal via Twitter.
Cristobal helped lead the Hurricanes to the No. 12 ranked national recruiting class in 2022, according to On3’s consensus database. Not only that but the Florida native himself also helped bring in several transfer portal commitments from in-state talent that was playing elsewhere in college football, like former Clemson Tigers receiver Frank Ladson.
Cristobal has impressed with his ability to recruit all over the nation, and take advantage of the college football transfer portal. However, the Hurricanes headman’s other goal this off-season is rebuilding the Miami brand. Cristobal plans on bringing back the same level of excitement to the program that it carried from the 80s to the early 2000s. And he has been able to do that; getting large amounts of Hurricanes alumni to interact with players and those in attendance.

Francis Mauigoa now has an On3 NIL Valuation of $291,000, which is up more than $53,000 after his pledge to the Hurricanes.
A central reason for his On3 NIL Valuation boost is the significant increase in social media followers he saw.
While he has only around 14,700 followers in total, he did see a 40.9% increase in Instagram followers, a 39.93% rise in TikTok follows and a 37.2% surge in Twitter followers over the past seven days. All of the increases came during the run-up and after he picked the Hurricanes over Tennessee, Alabama and a host of other national programs.
The increase will surely continue on all his social platforms. That’s especially true after the special shoutout he received from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson following his commitment.
