While they’ve certainly had their moments of trailing in games, the Miami offensive attack has been one of the most explosive in all of college football in the 2024 season. Cam Ward has thrown for 4,123 passing yards, and he was even a Heisman Trophy finalist in New York City. He’ll be playing in the bowl game, even though he’s expected to be one of the top quarterback prospects selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hurricanes running back Damien Martinez had 823 rushing yards and nine touchdowns this season. Miami star wideout Xavier Restrepo once again solidified himself as one of the best pass catchers in the ACC, hauling in 69 catches for 1,127 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. He’ll be a fascinating prospect to watch in the upcoming years. He’s got a very bright NFL future ahead of him.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Hurricanes finish off their 2024 campaign. Because they’ve looked pretty incredible at times on offense, but they’ve certainly struggled plenty, too.
