Ahead of Miami’s impending bowl game appearance, one Hurricanes wide receiver announced plans for his future.

Star wide receiver Charleston Rambo took to Twitter on Friday to announce his intention to enter the NFL Draft.

Rambo is having an incredible season for the Hurricanes. The redshirt junior ranks fourth in the ACC with 97.7 receiving yards per game and seven touchdowns for Miami, which finished 7-5 this season.

He started his career with Oklahoma, playing four seasons with the Sooners. His best season came in 2019 when he had 743 receiving yards and five touchdowns as Oklahoma went 12-1 before falling to LSU in the Peach Bowl.

After transferring to Miami this season, Rambo has been an essential part of the Hurricanes’ offensive attack. He has almost 630 more yards than the second-leading receiver on the roster, which speaks to just how much work he had to do.

Report: Miami set to hire Clemson’s Dan Radakovich as athletic director

One day after reports surfaced about Miami’s athletic director search being a “mess,” the Hurricanes have reportedly found their new AD. And he’s staying in the ACC.

Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich is set to replace Blake James as Miami’s AD, according to John Canzano of The Oregonian.

Radakovich has been the athletic director at Clemson since 2012 after six years at Georgia Tech in the same role. Prior to Georgia Tech, Radakovich was a senior associate athletic director at LSU from 2001-06, where he was instrumental in the renovation of Tiger Stadium.

He oversaw a period of growth for Clemson, including facility improvements and an impressive run of College Football Playoff appearances from the Tigers’ football team, including two CFP titles.

According to Canzano, Radakovich’s first big decision is going to be on a football coach. Manny Diaz has been rumored to be on the hot seat all season, and other candidates have popped up even though Diaz hasn’t been let go yet.
