Miami OL Logan Sagapolu enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
Miami offensive lineman Logan Sagapolu has entered his name into the transfer portal.
Sagapolu has spent every season of his career under Mario Cristobal. He began at Oregon before following Cristobal to Miami for the past two seasons. He will now enter this fall with a third program as a fifth-year, redshirt junior.
In total, Sagapolu appeared in nine games with the Hurricanes with one start.
Sagapolu played high school football at Skyridge as a native of Lehi, Utah. He was a three-star prospect and the No. 578 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranked as a Top-50 IOL and the No. 4 player out of his state.
Sagapolu is now the 23rd player to leave Coral Gables this offseason in the portal. He is also one of the first of this spring cycle to enter. He is one of 11 offensive transfers while being the only to do so from their offensive line to this point.
As for additions, Miami has added nine players in the portal as part of the No. 24 transfer class per On3’s 2024 College Football Team Transfer Portal Rankings. A trio of offensive additions are part of that group, including one offensive lineman in Zach Carpenter (Indiana).

RB Rodney Hill re-enters the NCAA Transfer Portal
Running back Rodney Hill has entered his name back into the transfer portal again.
Hill has spent the offseason bouncing around programs in the portal after spending the past two seasons at Florida State. After leaving the Seminoles, he has since committed to Florida A&M, decommitted from the Rattlers, committed to Miami, and then rejoined Florida A&M. Now, after all that over the past three months or so, he is once again transferring elsewhere.
In 2023, Hill rushed 50 times for 190 yards and a score. That was the fourth-most carries for the Seminoles for the third-most rushing yards. He also caught five passes for 83 yards, which averaged out to one of the best numbers on the team at 16.6 yards per reception.
Hill is the No. 1,088 overall transfer per On3’s 2024 Transfer Portal Top Players. Those same rankings have him as the No. 94 RB from the portal.
Hill has been committed to three different programs, all in the state of Florida, over the last four months. That could now be a fourth, if not a return to one of the previous trio at this point, with his decision to re-enter the portal.
