Miami's offer meant a lot to 2024 QB Air Noland
The buzz around Air Noland started when he was just in middle school. He entered high school already having an offer from Kentucky. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound sophomore at Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes has continued to work and he continues to add offers.
The 2024 quarterback visited Coral Gables earlier this spring and last Thursday, Miami extended an offer.
Mario Cristobal spoke with Noland when he was on campus. Josh Gattis and Frank Ponce did as well. That made an impression on the talented south-paw.
“The coaches at Miami are very engaging,” Noland told On3. “I met the new staff, they took the time to talk with me, and I really like them. They seem like coaches that get to know their players and the time they took with me meant something.”
The visit did too.
“Miami is a great school with some great coaches, so this is a big offer. For them to have me down for a visit, then to stop by my school, and then to get an offer, is really means something.

“I am building a relationship with coach Ponce, I like coach Gattis a lot, and coach Cristobal is a great head coach, so this offer stands out.”
Noland listed the Hurricanes when running off some of the schools that stand out. Auburn, Duke, and Wake Forest were some of the others on that list.
He is looking to get back down to Coral Gables in the coming months.
“The vibe at Miami is great,” Noland said. “The trees, the coaches, the area – it all is nice. The coaches really stand out to me. I like them, the offense coach Gattis runs, and it is a school I like a lot.”
