Michigan State Spartans transfer cornerback Charles Brantley is taking his talents to South Beach, committing to join the Miami Hurricanes via the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned.

Brantley played in nine games this season and finished with 27 tackles, two tackles for loss, three interceptions, seven pass deflections and a pick six. This was after just three games in 2023.

As a member of the Class of 2021, Brantley was a three-star recruit out of Venice (Fla.) He was the No. 83 overall prospect in the state, the No. 57 cornerback in the class and the No. 632 overall prospect in the class.

Moving forward, Charles Brantley will hope to become a key cog in Mario Cristobal’s Hurricanes, as Miami hopes to become a perennial College Football Playoff contender over the next couple of seasons.
