NC State defensive tackle transfer CJ Clark commits to Miami

NC State defensive tackle CJ Clark has committed to Miami, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Clark spent five seasons with the Wolfpack before entering the NCAA transfer portal this offseason. He has emerged as a productive player along the defensive front.

In his redshirt junior season in 2023, Clark accounted for 22 tackles, 4.0 tackles for a loss and 1.0 sacks.

During the length of his five-year career at NC State, Clark accumulated 72 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss and 4.0 sacks.

Prior to enrolling at NC State, CJ Clark was a four-star prospect and the No. 184 overall recruit in the country in the 2019 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.

He also checked in as the No. 26 defensive lineman in his class and the No. 4 overall player from the state of North Carolina, hailing from New London (NC) North Stanly.
