Nijel Pack signs major NIL deal following Miami commitment
Following his commitment to Miami, Nijel Pack has signed the biggest LifeWallet NIL deal to date, two years $800,000.00 total at $400,000.00 per year plus a car, according to John H. Ruiz, Attorney at Law.
“I chose Miami because, first, Coach L [Jim Larranaga] is a great coach and he allows his guards to get up and down and play with lots of freedom,” Pack said to On3 before the announcing of the deal. “Second, [Miami] is coming off a great season, and has a really good group returning plus some freshmen and transfers and I believe we can be a great team. Lastly, the ACC is a great conference to play in and I love to play against the best.”
The 6-foot-0 sophomore guard averaged 17.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2. assists last season for the Kansas State Wildcats.
Pack, one of the top transfers this offseason, ultimately chose the Hurricanes over Ohio State and Purdue. He will join an incoming group of four freshmen — four-star PF AJ Casey, four-star C Favour Aire, three-star SF Christian Watson, and three-star SF Danilo Jovanovich.
Pack will have three seasons of eligibility remaining to amass NIL deals in South Beach and help take the Hurricanes back to the Elite Eight for a second consecutive season.

Social media star Cavinder twins transfer to ACC program
Haley and Hanna Cavinder have committed to Miami after spending the last three seasons with Fresno State, according to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.
Haley averaged 19.8 points per game this season, 21st nationally after just one year removed from winning the Mountain West Conference player of the year honors. Hanna averaged 14.5 points per game as well.
The five-foot-six guards claim to fame somehow isn’t on the court, though. It’s through their four million TikTok followers and enough NIL endorsement deals to keep their family living comfortably for generations to come.
