Miami star receiver Xavier Restrepo added to his record-breaking career on Saturday, catching a 66-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s win over Duke to move him into first place all-time in receiving yards for the Hurricanes.

Xavier Restrepo passed Reggie Wayne and Santa Moss to take over the top spot. Moss previously held the record with 2,547 yards.

Restrepo had a monster game against Duke, catching eight passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns. He now has 2,573 yards for his career.

The fifth-year senior is one of six Miami players in school history with at least 2,000 receiving yards. Being at the top of the Hurricanes record is obviously impressive considering the wideouts Miami has produced.

Mark Flethcer Jr. honors late father after scoring touchdown vs Duke

Elsewhere with Miami, the Hurricanes led Duke 46-31 midway through the fourth quarter, and the game started to feel out of reach when they handed the ball to Mark Fletcher Jr. to score the team’s seventh touchdown on the day.

For the second straight week, Fletcher has been able to honor his late father, who died last week before the Florida State game, with a touchdown. This time he fell to his knees and pointed toward the sky in a moment that his family won’t soon forget.

Fletcher nearly finished as the team’s leading rusher during the contest, rushing for 65 yards on 12 carries and the lone touchdown to cap off Miami’s victory. He was behind fellow tailback Damien Martinez, who had 11 touches for 66 yards.

Miami remained unbeaten on the year with the win and took another step towards reaching the College Football Playoff.
