Jordan Hall is on his official visit to Michigan State this weekend, and has decided he has seen all he needs in order to to call East Lansing home.

The four-star linebacker out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy has committed to Mel Tucker and the Michigan State Spartans.

He chose the Spartans over Florida, Michigan, North Carolina and Notre Dame. He had plans to attend official visits at all five schools before making his decision, but the Spartans convinced that there was no better time than now to announce.

“I’ve committed to Michigan State,” Hall told On3. “This weekend I decided to become a Spartan dog.”

Hall has visited Michigan State four times. They made him a priority and the Spartans won out.

“I really can’t find anything that Michigan State isn’t doing right, right now,” Hall said in a previous interview. “They are recruiting me so well. The whole staff has talked to me, and it is that family-feel when I am up there.

“They are just doing an amazing job with me. I love the direction of the program and coach Tucker has that program going in a great direction.”

Hall is the No. 237 overall recruit in the 2023 On3 Consensus.

Hall is joining a Spartans recruiting class that has been rising under Tucker. The group ranks 4th in the Big Ten and has nine total recruits.

Four of the prospects are four-star players in Hall, Bettendorf (Iowa) Pleasant Valley four-star EDGE Andrew Depaepe, Dexter (Mich.) four-star tight end Brennan Parachek and Denton (Texas) Ryan four-star cornerback Chance Rucker.
